The Botswana Global Adaptation Week is a major adaptation event of the year which aims to promote and showcase adaptation actions and practices at the country level and a platform to advance the formulation and implementation of the National Adaptation Plans as well as foresight thinking for resilience.
The Botswana Global Adaptation Week is co-hosted by the UNFCCC and the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Botswana. It features the following events:
• NAP Expo 2022, organized by the UNFCCC Least Developed Countries Expert Group (LEG)
• Resilience Frontiers, organized by the UNFCCC secretariat
• UN4NAPs Forum, and
• The 42nd meeting of the LEG.
These events will take place during the course of the week from 22 to 26 August 2022 and from 29 to 31 August 2022 at the
Gaborone International Conference Center.
