Ms. Nivohary Ramaroson is a national of Madagascar, is the Country Programme Analyst, in IFAD’s Eastern and Southern Africa Division, in Antananarivo, Madagascar, starting from 01 September 2021. Nivohary joins IFAD from the Ministry of Environment in Antananarivo Madagascar, where she worked as the Director of the National Climate Change Office within the Ministry of Environment in Antananarivo Madagascar. Prior to this, Nivohary supported the UN Environment Global Support Programme in carrying out capacity building to the Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV) Networks member countries, on Vulnerability and Assessment (V&A), with a view to facilitate the preparation of the V&A section of national communications submitted by non-Annex I Parties.Nivohary possesses a Master’s degree in remote sensing from the University of Reunion and in Agronomy Engineering from the University of Antananarivo in Madagascar.
