A resourceful and industrious professional that is skilled in natural sciences, organizational management, new business development, Project writing, budget preparation, supervision of organizational team/unit, stakeholder engagements, formulation of policies, excellent writing, presentation, facilitation, and diplomatic skills. Gabriel is a dedicated, organised, and efficient Meteorologist with a wealth of knowledge in weather, climate modeling, vulnerability assessment, environmental issues, climate change, and United Nations Climate Change negotiations processes. Gabriel has been successfully using his analytical, design, and problem-solving skills in organizational management, weather, and climate change-related issues both nationally and internationally. He is currently the Deputy Director-General & Head of Operations at the Sierra Leone Meteorological Agency and the United National Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Focal Point for Sierra Leone and has also served as Head of the Physics Department, Fourah Bay College in the University of Sierra Leone and currently support the Department of Physics as Lecturer on a part-time basis. Within the UNFCCC processes, Gabriel had been coordinating 46 LDC countries in Mitigation and Science negotiations, served as Katowice Comittee on the Impact of Response Measure (KCI) expert member for two terms, and is currently a LEG member serving as the LEG chair.
