Bio:

I obtained my Master's Degree in forestry science from Tribhuvan University, Nepal and joined the Nepal Forest Service in 2004 as a Conservation Officer. I undertook training in wildlife management from Wildlife Institute of India. I received my Doctoral Degree from Charles Sturt University, Australia in 2016 for the work on "pastoralism and animal ecology". I have more than 20 years of expertise and experience in forest management, forest resource assessment, carbon measurement, wildlife monitoring and conservation, protected area management, REDD-plus and climate change adaptation. I am involved in programmes and projects dealing with climate change adaptation in Nepal. I am currently working as a Chief of the Climate Change Management Division of the Ministry of Forests and Environment, Government of Nepal, and also serving as National Focal Point to the UNFCCC.
