Bio:

I am an organized, pains-taking professional person with varied desirable qualities of leadership and a hard-working, dedicated and committed person with a sense of responsibility, humour and team spirit. I am a highly qualified and well-trained in the field of Climate Change and Policy and Natural Resource Management by profession with a Bachelor Degree (BSc) in Sustainable Natural Resources Management at Ndejje University (2011, Uganda) and MSc. Climate Science and Policy at Teri University (2017, New Delhi-India) respectively.  During the course of over 12 years of my carrier, I had gained a wealth of experience in the fields of Climate Change, Climate Change Adaptation & Mitigation, Climate risk Management, Water Resources management, Climate Change policy and governance, Disaster Risk Management, early Warning system,  Livelihood Vulnerability assessment, Agriculture and food security, Projects Development, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, Monitoring and Evaluation of projects and programme design and implementation to enhance National, regional and International Policies on Natural Resource and climate change.  I have been a lead negotiator for climate Change for South Sudan since COP20 until now and currently a lead negotiator for Koronivia Joint Work on Agriculture (KJWA) for the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and member of the Adaptation team for the LDCs and  African group of Negotiators (AGN) was well was member of Finance team under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.  Furthermore, I have held senior positions in the Ministry as Deputy director for MEAs, and others positions included; national coordinator for the development and implementation of; National Adaptation Plan of Action (NAPA, 2016) , Initial Nationally Determined Contribution (INDCs, 2015), Initial National Communication (INC 2018), National Capacity Self-Assessment (NCSA-2018), South Sudan First NAPs 2020,  and South Sudan Second National Determined Contribution (2nd NDCs-2021), South Sudan TNA,  National Coordinator for a project on Watershed approaches for climate resilience in Agro-pastoral landscapes, and National Coordinator for Strengthening Capacity building for the government institution and local communities to adapt to Climate Change in South Sudan.

I have been involved in the development of livelihood vulnerability assessment for south Sudan, State of Environment Report, prioritization of adaptation options in NAPA, First NAP, and South Sudan’s Second NDC, Disaster Risk Management, early Warning system,  Livelihood Vulnerability assessment, Agriculture and food security, Projects Development and writing, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, Monitoring and Evaluation of projects and programme design and implementation.
