Bio:

Mr. Emmanuel Nkundimana was born in Rwanda in 1979. He married Delphine KARASIRA UMUHIRE, and they have three children. He has a bachelor’s degree in environmental chemistry, and a master’s degree in water resources and environmental management, and he is doing PhD in geography at the University of Bonn, Germany. He worked as a high school teacher of chemistry in Rwanda. He also worked as the head of the water Research Laboratory and Soil and Plant Laboratory at the University of Rwanda in the department of chemistry and the department of soil sciences respectively. His research work is focusing on: (i) assessing water resources availability in a basin; (ii) Evaluating sediment fluxes; (iii) analyzing the spatial distribution of phosphorus and nitrogen loads at a catchment scale; and (iv) assessing the impact of climate and land use/land cover changes on water, sediment and nutrients using different software and SWAT models.
