Bio:

Mr Evans Njewa graduated from Bunda College, University of Malawi in 1990 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Agriculture with Credit. Evans has a Master of Policy Studies degree from SARIPS /SAPES Trust obtained in the cohort September 1997 – September 1999. Mr. Njewa is currently working as a Chief Environmental Officer responsible for climate change (finance, adaptation, mitigation, planning), biodiversity, Global Environment Facility (GEF), Green Climate Fund (GCF). Evans has been a Board member of the Green Climate Fund and the Adaptation Fund, and is a Lead Negotiator on climate finance for the 46 least developed countries since 2009. Evans has been a Lead Negotiator for Malawi on Climate Change since 2005.
