Bio:

Served as an Environmental Officer with the Ministry of Agriculture in Tanzania from December 2009 to June 2018, participated in the UNFCCC COP meetings as national delegate and negotiator, and a technical team member in developing Tanzania’s Agriculture Climate Resilient Plan and Climate Smart Agriculture Profile in collaboration with the World Bank and The International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT). Facilitated Tanzania’s Agro-Meteorological Database establishment, led the development of the agriculture climate services training manual and spearheaded the adoption of digital agricultural climate through technical consultancy service with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Dar es Salaam Tanzania since June 2018 to date. He is a member of the UN Emergency Coordination Group, supporting disaster risk reduction, early warning and early actions and overall disaster risk management including climate change resilience and food security in Tanzania.
